Bernina Sewing Machine International Millinery Forum

The International Millinery Forum in Wagga Wagga is off and running and we have fallen in love with all.  The tutors, delegates and those selling Millinery Marvels.  I have personally spent a small fortune, but I cannot believe how friendly and beautiful everyone is.  There is a beautiful sense of community and I had my first tutorial with the 'Fabulous Feather King Neil Grigg'.  I knew during the parade when I saw his delightfully curled quills there was no way he was going to share that secret although he has shown me how to make a block free 'Top Hat'.  Can you imagine not having to block a 'Top Hat'????
Totally Amazing and a very understanding tutor of Millinery as I am sure all tutors will be over the week.  It is a little like Millinery Survivor as the heat is searing up to temperatures of 37oC today and is headed for a heatwave.  Please Air Con, stay in touch with us with power.

The Pool seems to be a hit after classes and I have been welcomed by locals, delegates and even Woolworths staff.  I cannot thank the City of Wagga Wagga enough for their hospitality.

One of the main sponsors of this event is Bernina Sewing Machines.  This has shown me examples of beautiful new textiles that can be made and brought to life.
Sometimes just the same mediums all the time can not inspire.  This is where Bernina was in play to show us the latest technology in machine work and how to make sewing so much more easier.
The textile and medium are amazing leaving only your imagination left to work out what is right for you, but even looking at the felting and stitching gave me thought for the next Carnival Inspiration.
A fantastic Machine, just a few features.
