Couture Hats by Beth Hirst

Heading into the weekend in Australia just before my daughter heads to 4 days a week 4 year old Early Learning, I am in a wreck thinking this is her last free day before she heads to the horrific time that we all remember being school. Thank Goodness for Art, Craft and Rudolf Steiner School.

As we head out of the main Summer Racing Carnival in Australia and head for the Autumn I turn my awareness to Winter and cooler months so of course UK comes to mind. Immediately I am warmed up by toasty images of Classically Crafted Millinery and attention to detail with Couture Hats by Beth Hirst.
I love seeing inspirations and raw materials that will one day be transformed into Millinery Masterpieces. The same as I would sit as a child and watch my mother turn raw canvas into visual art, the craft of millinery where you see textiles and mediums being turned into head wear. This is the beauty of Millinery, it is not just a hat. It is an extension of someones creative genius incorporated with your personality and soul to be admired on your head.
