When talking about Millinery in Australia we are so blessed to have so many talented, unique talents, but when you step of the plane and head for Royal Ascot and sit among the British Aristocracy, I am sorry, but I will let you know you are being judged from Head to Toe. It is ruthless and stiff upper lip and you will not hear a whisper, but trust me if a hair is out of place it will be noticed and you will be put into the group that shall not bear the right to enter the 'Royal Enclosure'. With Royal Ascot coming closer I am delighted to give you a peak into the world of Gina Foster Millinery. The elegance and grace not only of her master craftsmanship but the overseeing of the quality of her fabrics are second to none. The fabric and the way the sisal and sinemay has been blocked, you can see the attention to detail where the sisal line meets the edge of the block where I have been mentored by a Master Milliner to look for when assessing detail. When mentioning the name of Gina Foster Millinery, this is not a new name, as has featured on the Front of 'The Hat' magazine and also adorned by Duchess Catherine of Cambridge, need you look further. Rachel Trevor Morgan Millinery

When you add HRH to the list of clientele, I guess that you have stepped into another league, although it is not difficult to see why. Rachel Trevor Morgan Millinery is superbly crafted and beyond compare. Having felt the craft through my hand and trying to understand Millinery better, my cases of example of hats, which really cannot be spoken about in the same sentence as this brilliant Milliner look like a mere cat scratching post in comparison.
This is where where genius meets perfection and worth of Royal Stamp of Approval. Just looking at these amazing hats takes you to the a place far beyond belief and this beautiful art of hand made adornment for the head is not only made with the finest of material, but also mastered and by some of the most skilled hands I have ever seen. RIP Mr Frederick Fox

I only had the pleasure of being introduced to Mr Fox on a couple of occasions and was blessed to have exchanged our love of hats. A gentleman and Master Milliner.
So many loved and admired him so much, I leave it to others who knew him better to leave some words. Anna. x

How can I not mark the passing of the great milliner, Freddie Fox?
Australian born and trained, Mr Fox forged an impressive career in London and is famous for making hats for the Queen.
Whilst Australians celebrated the Bicentenary in early 1988, I was knocking sheepishly on the door of Freddie Fox's eagles nest of an atelier, high above London's Bond Street.
Armed with a letter of introduction from my previous boss, Mr Individual, I was shepherded into the plush showroom.
Elegantly silvery and dapper, Mr Fox flicked nonchalantly through my modest folio saying that he could pay me no more than 50 pounds per week and to ring back in exactly seven days to see whether a position was available.
I recall withdrawing from his presence taking cautiously tiny, backward steps.
One week later, as requested, I telephoned but to advise that I had accepted a position elsewhere.
'Oooooh!' groaned the cockney voice at the other end of the line, 'Mr Fox won't be pleased! He's expecting you to start this week!'
When Mr Fox and I were introduced 15 years later on the lawn at Flemington, that was the occasion of our first real meeting.
