Rosie Olivia Millinery

There are allot of new Milliners emerging and learning which is fantastic for the Millinery and Hatting industry, it keeps our suppliers in work, our Milliners and Hatters in work and a fantastic reason to feel fabulous.
When looking at Millinery in Fashions on the Field in Australia the work is outstanding and beautiful although sometimes I feel like the lines are missing. You have a hat that is a fabulous colour and you have thrown flowers and netting on it, but really some of the new generation of milliners are missing the line and beauty that crowns the head to bring the eye up. Sometimes it is not about the biggest or most outrageous, (and dare I say that, as you all know I love a show stopper), but sometimes it is in the editing and trimming. Often trimming will hide the mistake of the Milliner, where looking at Rosie Olivia Millinery there are sublime lines and beauty in every angle you look.

Noel Stewart Millinery, a name synonymous with Brilliance

Loving to look at new talent, but really I love to muse over established Milliners and see how they are innovating new looks to runway and trends for 14-15. Noel Stewart would have to be my favourite Milliner who works with plastic and makes it almost look liquid. Noel's hat are impeccably made and nothing less than perfection. I am inspired by the high crown of his collection with Gareth Pugh and cannot wait to see how the public translates this look to their own wardrobe. In love. Thank you Mr Stewart. x
