Neil Grigg

Undoubtedly one of the most celebrated milliners of Australia who needs no introduction, is the fabulous Neil Grigg.  Neil Grigg is a master of his craft and I do have quite a few Grigg numbers in my millinery wardrobe.  One thing is for sure the on going list of A grade celebrities and also throw in royalty as well, then you know you are dealing with a master craftsman.  Neil's millinery is always a feature on the Australian Fashion on the Field circuit, but more importantly, takes most of the prizes!   Neil's work is always in a class of it's own, showing attention to detail and ingenious innovation.
From Neil's Blog,

In his 30-year career, Neil has created thousands of hats for brides, race-goers and celebrities alike. He has created headwear for theatre productions such as Miss Saigon42nd StreetGlimpses and Les Miserables.
Renowned for his beautiful hand-made flowers, enchanting feather-work, and an endless imagination, Neil's headpieces bring a particular individual style for each client. His bridal wear ranges from delicate headpieces through to flowing full-length veils. His race wear channels a vintage elegance that has a theatrical lilt and individuality that has resulted in many of his clients becoming finalists or winning "Fashions on the Field".
Neil supplies a couture-line of fascinators, headpieces and hats to David Jones for Spring Carnival. Past clients include Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, Lady Sonia McMahon, Gai Waterhouse, Jennifer Hawkins, Tara Moss, Kerri-Anne Kennerley, Catriona Rowntree, Jodi Gordon, Sonia Kruger, Jessica Rowe, Maria Venuti, Joanna Griggs, Annalies Seubert and Esther Anderson, just to name a few.
Throughout Australia, Neil judges fashion competitions, regularly teaches millinery master classes and appears on television.

Tolentino Terrific

I am quite obsessed with my beautiful friends in Spain that make the most desirable hats I have ever seen and I don't think any are too over the top for me.  Right now I am ill in bed after 5 weeks of illness and still reaping my body of energy.  Now with the Australian Summer well behind us we are looking to the tran seasonal head wear and Tolentino from their season just gone has given us some wonderful ideas of how we should be looking in this coming season.  Tolentino, you wake me from my ill slumber to bring you to the millinery world.  I love your ideas and heart of millinery.  Thank you Tolentino, my milliner of the day.  xxxxx
