Last Saturday night, the wonderful talented Gaylene Thomas showcased her millinery at Mercedes Fashion Passport.  Gaylene is a wonderful milliner from Far North Queensland sporting glorious tropical colour with her mastery in silk abaca in which she was the founding importer of this fabric into Australia.  Gaylene brushed up her brilliant skills at the millinery forum in Wagga, but we always looking forward to seeing Gaylen's beautiful creations.  Congratulations Gaylene on a wonderfully successful show that turned everyone's head toward your beautiful hats.

It comes to no surprise at all when you look at Sandy A's millinery collection that she resides in the sunny state of Queensland.  Sandy's hats are always a colourful delight and loves to mix and match brights, although once in Sydney I did spot a tonal piece that was the white and grey.  A beautiful piece in deed. Sandy on an annual basis has master celebrity milliner Neil Grigg to her sunny home and holds tutorials.  Colour, bright and beauty of the tropics is the signature of the wonderful Sandy A.
