Karen Morris Millinery

I would like to take a moment to Introduce an amazing Milliner and friend, Karen Morris. I had the pleasure at the International Millinery Forum to meet this wonderful lady from the United States and share conversation. Karen is such a pleasure to chat to and I could imagine her clients coming back again and again as her beauty of soul is not only seen in her hats but is also warms to you in her words.
I am so excited to see the technique that Karen learned from Jane Taylor, (Milliner to Duchess Katherine) I adore your work Karen and I just had to share.
The felt work is amazing, totally in love and seeing these felts ALMOST wants me to go through another Melbourne Winter.

Jonathan Howard Hatmaker, The Philip Treacy of Australia

Dare I say there be another like Philip Treacy? Although they both do bare the name 'Hatmaker' and not Milliner!
In saying this, Jonathan's work is sublimely perfect and even the hats that are not to my taste are still opulently distinct and understated. Perfection personified.
I do have times when I don't always agree with people, but in saying that I cannot take anything away from the talent of Hatmaking with his attention to detail. There is something for everyone here, but the prices are high. If you have the $$$ you will be happy with the result as I can spot his work a mile away.
I did talk to him last year about the horrid perspex and he had to fit his client orders, but I think finally he can get back to his signature and may he have wonderful sales and I am so glad to see that Jonathan's work is still as ridiculously fabulous as last time I looked. I have and always will adore his hats. Anna. x

Karen Morris Milliner

I am very blessed to have met so many wonderful people at the International Millinery Forum and one was the beautiful Karen Morris from the United States. Karen is a vivacious happy lady and her work is superbly crafted.
